In order to
view streaming video clips, you need appropriate software loaded on your
computer. While not endorsing any specific product, one that will work is
Real One player (since real Players Media Services is used to stream the video). To get it at no charge, go to
www.real.com and click on the
download link.
Please be
aware that the quality of streaming video is somewhat diminished, so that in
return you can see the video clip almost immediately. However, if your Internet
connection is slow (less than 56K), there may be "thinning" of the video during
the playback. If you miss a section, you can scroll to the approximate place and
replay the stream. You can also try exiting your player and reloading it again
from the web site, which sometimes plays a missing section. To minimize
"thinning", increase the buffering of your player to the highest setting.
