  LP meter puts money back in pocket of denim manufacturer

Swift Denim one of the largest denim manufacturers in the world recently purchased two LP Meters, an LP07XT (3200 cfm) for permanent installation and an LP150 for point of use verification. Within a brief period of time, this client was able to shut down a 150 HP rotary screw Quincy compressor. Saving over $ 58,000.00 per year.

This was accomplished by fine tuning their compressed air system and establishing compressor performances and quantifying air leaks in the system. Once the air leaks were quantified and centrifugal, screw and piston type compressor controls were put in check, Maintenance crews were able to reduce consumption enough to shut down the Quincy. Payback was realized immediately!
